Reverse Camera and Nav System Together

Does the image show up on the nav screen instead of the mirror?

The reverse camera image is only on the rearview mirror...even if you do have the navigation system.

I thought the image in the mirror would be too small, but I've found it is big enough for the job of backing up. Pretty cool.

That's a shame, it would have been a nice addition. However, I believe a little wiring would allow it to work that way.

I agree that Ford should have put the image on the Nav Screen. Another corner Ford took was not installing auto up/down on both front power windows. It would not hurt for Ford to check out the competition (japanese) once in a while.

I have the Pioneer avic-D3 and it is great having the backup camera image on the large screen!!!

And I have a second camera on the back of my trailer that I switch to while towing.

You have alot more options avaliable with aftermarket systems!
