Ford Ranchero

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Jul-02 AT 04:22 AM (EST)]I have a 1971 Ford Ranchero with a 351 cleveland I was wondering what horsepower it has I have heard different from many people and many things. If anyone could tell me if they know I would appreciate it. My engine is all stock if you dont count the chrom valve covers and air filter if you could help thanks. I would also Like to add my ranchero is a 2v. Thanks if you can help

Well those chrome valve covers have to be worth at least 5 hp. But seriously you should have around 250 hp

Ford claimed 250hp from the 1971 2v motor, but the number was more like 210 (at the flywheel, tested on an engine dyno). The 4v hp figure of 300hp seems to be more accurate though.
