I think I did a little water damage to my 96 E-150, 300 6
Was plowing the snow (Driveing thru the wet slush) the county puts
up on the curb, When the AMP gauge went to about + 2 volts! Lights
went almost COMPLETELY out! I shot back in the driveway, Let it idle
and it seems OK. What kind of damage might have occoured to cause that?
Kinda scary. Mabey it was just water getting somwhere it shouldn't be?
Did I damage it? Any thing I should look for? any IDEAS?? Thanks
I trust that you're telling us you were plowing "through" the snow/slush, and not doing snow removal.
Anyway, I suspect that you just have a bad connection somewhere that was jared loose for a moment. Check the connections at the battery and alternator, and make sure that the grounds are all good.
