Distributor problems???

Ok I just got done with a similar problem with my waterneck. I am running a 351C intake on my 400 and since it is about a 1" taller the distributor won’t go all the way in. It hits on the intake. There is only like 1/16"-1/32" to get it in. I have shaved some material off the intake but I’m not sure how much I can take off. Are there any aftermarket distributors that are a bit smaller, or are there taller ones.

Thanks

Jeremy

Distributor problems???

The people at Price Motorsports told me that a 351W distributor would fit the 351-400, all you have to do is change out the gear. He said it would be about 1" taller. Have any of yall done this or heard of doing this? Is the MSD distributor taller than stock? Got any tricks or tips, I'm really lost on this on.

thanks,

Jeremy
