This is a vid of the fire in Tony Pedregon's Funny Car at the first nationals this year.
Apparently the cam quit turning, and the plugs fired when some of the valves were open. Makes for a bad fire, as you can see in the vid
Amazingly enough, Pedregon was fine, although his hands were in considerable pain. NHRA has some amazing safety stuff.
