removing sirius
i bought a 99 ranger which has a sony exploder radio and it had the sirius system . someone had started to remove the sirius system.most of it was shoved under the seat. the sony works great on cd but no reception on am or fm. acts like the antenna is not hooked up but it is. is there anything special to removing the sirius system. there may be something still wired into it but i do not know what to look for. anyone have experence removing this system.there is no change in sound or reception when i plug in or unplug the antenna. i do hear airplanes somtimes ,but that is about all. what should i do? i would hate buy a new radio and not need it... thanks
