I just found the testing procedure for the cruise control system. I'm going to go test it now but just wondering if haveing the abs light on is going to keep the cruise from working?
wow thanks, that was really helpful, mine has been sluggish also, ill set it to 55 and it will fall down to 50 and kick in but it will kick your head back, so i gota try this, lol
89 f250 4x4 4speed...i did some testing and i get no 12v signal from the green wire at the amp when the brake pedal is pressed. My brake lights do work. And i looked around and can't find any switch for the clutch pedal. One last thing when you push the on button is there a light thats supposed to come on, on the dash?
no light on the 89 , if you have a circuit problem start there besides looking for power on that circuit when teh brakes are applied it also looks for a ground through the brake light circuit when the switch is off , so start there
ABS light could be just low brake fluid....... check connector on M/C and check the RABs 20 amp fuse. If you want the RABs 1 info/manual click on my name and email me.
PLC7.3 clicked on your name and email it said i don't have permission. If you wouldn't mind emailing me the RABs info/manual that would be great. I would love to get the light off, meanwhile i will check the MC connector the fluid was my first idea but no such luck.
Ford Trans tech I have ground there whether the brakes are applied or not i get 12v at the blue and purple wire when the on switch is pressed and i get about 7v at the white and purple wire but nothing when the button is let up.
