I don't think it does. I had a '99 F250 SD with the "Off-road Package" and the diff in it was open. My '98 also has the "Off-road Package" and has an open diff. I think the package also includes some better all-terrains from the factory.

mines 4x4 but i dont think it has off road package it has a little black 4x4 sticker on the back and im not to sure about skid plates ... where can i get them?? ne one have pics???

This is something I was wondering too b/c the dealer told me when I bought my truck used that it was a Lariat with a 4x4 off road package. But it did not have stickers on the side of the bed (so I purchased them off ebay).
But I do have skid plates, upgraded shocks, but NO limited slip diff. I hate open diffs.
