Hello,
I'm new to this site so Hello to everyone.I have a little problem with my 1998 f-150 4.6L pickup.I just bought a new boat and I need more power to pull it.I put on a cold air intake but it didnt really seem to do anything so I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on what I could do to get some extra power out of my 4.6L triton

4.10 gearing rear and front for a 4x4 will help.

But yeah, they are expensive ($1500-$1800 installed), but it's about the only way to make these gutless 4.6L's get up and go.
You can spend that much on an intake, exhaust, chip and other little things and only gain 30RWHP, or you can get a good set of low gears and feel like you've gained 100HP.
