06 Explorer - Lock & Key Question
Hi all. I just got a 2006 Limited. I love this truck! One thing has me puzzled - the key works in the ignition but not the drivers door. That's the only door lock it has so I can't check anywhere else. Dealer says it's supposed to be that way but I think he's feeding me a line....
Any one else have this problem??

You can tell the difference between a chipped key and a std key. The chipped key is a bit bigger.
Dealers probably feeding you a line. Either the door lock cylinder is broken or was replaced or the ignition was replaced. That would explain why the key doesn't work.
