NP435 grinding in 2nd

NP435 grinding in 2nd
I have a 77 F150 4X4 with a NP435. When I try to shift into 2nd gear, up shifting or down shifting it grinds. Down shifting is really bad. I have no other problem with any gear. I take it that my syncro is bad....right? I tried looking around and searching but can't find many kits. I found one at JBG but that seems to be the only one. Does anyone else have any input to help me out?
