Unhappy 302 engine is missing

i have a 80 model f-150 that has began to miss sometimes, i replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor. i gapped all of the plugs and used dielectic grease on everything because i use this truck in the mud. keep in mind it was doing this missing before i changed everything. and sometimes you can get in and it wont miss any and then you get in and it misses badly. its very weak when it misses and you have to run it in third gear to be able to keep up your speed. i adjusted the timing after tuning it and the miss went away for a while and then came right back. changed fuel filter and i cant seem to find where the problem is lying at. engine vaccum is at around 15 to 25 and all vaccum lines are new and no vac leaks anywhere that i can find. if anyone can point me in the right direction i would be grateful. thanks.

If you put a light on it, does the timing stay steady? Is the coil good? Is the distributor worn excessively?

oh yeah i forgot to mention that the coil was new also and no there is no slack in the dist. also the "missing" is like a constant sputtering and the engine cant really"come to life" in other words
