It will fit but u have to change a bracket. The only reason i was asking about the lock is cause a guy up the street from me has one for sale for about 450. and i just want to be able to lock it cause there have been people stealing tgates where i live lately.

I believe all locking the gate does is release the latch inside the handle so it doesn't engage the rods inside the tailgate so it should work.

My 2005 F-350 would lock the tailgate with the door locks.
My 2008 F-350 has to be locked manually. I have both the steps and the camera. I know the top is much wider, and I bet that the insides are also different. Maybe someone has seen the innards. I don't think they are compatable.
