408W Stroker Heads

I am building a 408 stroker for my truck with an eagle rotating assembly, cast steel crank, I-beam rods, and hypereutectic dish top pistons and I dont know which heads to use. I would like to use either trick flow twisted wedge, or edelbrock performer RPM heads but I have heard you have to use special pistons with the trick flow's. Does anyone know if this is true, or have any experience with either of these heads?

trick flow heads require the pistons to be fly cut for clearance of the valves. but i think if you run a -22 or -16 dish to keep compression low that might not be necessary. some one with a bit more knowledge will post i am sure.

You'll likely need to notch the pistons with any heads that have 2.02" intakes.

Hopefully you're considering your displacement on your head decision right? If you're running much cam, run 1 3/4inch primary tube headers, 200cc+ heads, and a single plane intake or edelbrock performer RPM Air Gap. Beware those Hypertectics, they are extremely fragile to detonation and compression. Have you looked into running Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads?
