390 help!

hey 78classic i've noticed the same thing with my truck i tell people that it has a 390 in it because that is what the vin says it does but after reading and digesting all the information on this site i need to go out and check my stroke and for sure double check all my numbers because if you are new to this fe family of engines they all look the same so you might just have a 360 under the hood. I'm beginning to suspect that mine is one as well cuz i have the same problem that you described difference being that i have a 2 barrel on mine a c-6 tranny and 4.10 gears out back i think. my truck will tow anything you give it but it won't accelerate for nothing.
