Tire fit question

I have a 78 F-150 Reg Cab long bed 4x4 currently at stock ride height with 30x9.5 tires. I was originally planning on a 4" lift and 35x12.5 tires but I am trying to stay at the lowest possible budget. I was looking at the Super Swamper LTBs in 34x10.5 but was unsure if it would fill the wheel wells enough with the 4" lift. I like the idea of the slightly smaller tire due to less wear and tear on the axles and tranny. My question is do you all think these tires will fit at stock height without rubbing too much? If not I guess I'll go with the lift and 35s. It isn't really off road - mostly a street truck. Any insight would be great. Thanks.

honestly, i've run 33 12.5 15 on 10 in wide deep dish wheels on non lifted 79 f150s without a problem, esp if your not offroading it, unless you want a lift, then either 33s or 35s but i would go with at least a 12.5 wide tire or it looks like your rollin on pizza cutters.

Figured I'd resurrect this to ask one more question. You stated you have run 33x12.5 15 on 10inch wheels at stock height with no problems. I think the wheels I have are only 8" wide and i'd like to keep them. It seems everyone says the 12.5 wide tires will mount Ok on the 8" rims but I just want to make sure it won't cause any MAJOR rubbing issues without a lift. I think I will save some dough and shy away from the lift for the time being. I've got a line on a great price for a set of almost new BFG All-terrains that are 33x12.5x15 that I want to make sure will work so I can jump on them. Thanks for the info.
