Frustrating is not the word for it as I need the tranny, Sedly wants the motor and Al wants the front clip for his bronco.....good deal for all of us.....

Yeah it makes you wonder why the guy isnt calling back.
I went this weekend to look at a 1996 f250 standard cab with very little surface rust, a good running 5.8 liter and it needed a front end (didnt specify what exactly).
I got there and it was a f150, supercab shortbox, every panel had rust that was right through, and it was a 5 liter!
Was cheap enough at 400 bucks but had nothing I wanted on it lol.

I had a guy tell me last week he had a 81 F150 step side 4x4 with a 300I6,
he would sell it to me for 800 buck's.
When I got there it wasnt a step side,the only thing he was correct about was the motor.
I didn't buy it.The step side I could have swapped the motor out and sold.Not this piece of crap though.
I offered him 400,he wouldnt go for it.

Yeah these idiots think then if you travel all that way with a trailer your going to buy it and go home with something than a wasted trip. Did that with a friend here. Guy said the truck was rust free and lots of usable parts. Drove up and the truck was ready for a scrap yard. If the motor ran decent would of been the only thing. We left and the guy had this dumb face on him and was P O 'd we did not take it. So we back roaded seeing if we can see anything on our way home. No luck.
I think he thought we take it after driving all the way up his place. We probally would of if it was in the condition he said it was. He lied.
Now this guy not answering your calls make me wonder if he is scamming people. Be careful.

I was down at the wrecker's this morning,robbing some intereior part's off a '79 Bronco
for my truck.
