Last night I noticed the steering wheel on my 2000 F350 extended cab Duelly was about 90 degree out out of alignment. It's blocking the view of the instrument panel. Everything feels tight and snug.
My question is how can this happen and whats the fix?
This is normally caused when the toe-in is knocked out by hitting a rock, pothole, curb, etc. Did you hit something or did somebody else drive the truck? You need an alignment before you wear the tires out.

Isaac,
You should have the steering check by a professional right away. If the alignment changed that radically from one day to the next this may be a warning of an impending failure. If the truck was not involved in an incident which may have caused this, you may have a cracked or broken steering component.
