motor mount question?
can anyone tell me if the lower motor mounts,framemounts,frame perches,motor mount towers or what ever they are called, are the same for a 351m and a 302?i am rebuilding my 79 ford f150 4wd and i am switching the 300/6 for a 351m and i need the motor mount towers. i have found some at a salvage yard but there is no motor in the truck so i am hoping to find out if they are the correct parts.any help is appreciated,thanks mike

I thought it was like that also but on my motor pearchs i bought they said 302 351w only but my 400 sits on them fine. I had a stright 6 in my 94 and i wanted to do a V8 conversion so i went to the junk yard told them what i was doing and they said this is what yo uwant... i bolted them in and dropt the 400 right in ontop and it bolted up nicly so i donno what to tell ya
