today when i tried to open my door, it was really hard to open and now it wont open from the inside at all. The handle is giggling around. I stop at a shop and they want $100.00 just to look at it. Is this something I can fix myself? Can you tell me how to do it?

Thanks
When mine did that (about this time of year, as I recall), I just took off the door panel, and sprayed the handle hinge with WD40. It has worked perfectly since.
If I remember this right, when I had the same problem it was because the clip that the handle bolts into pulled through the inner door sheet metal. I just put two tack welds (one on top, one on bottom) on the clip to the door and put it back together. No problems since....well not with the door anyway.
I just fixed the doors on one of my friend's Bronco, and the both were the exact same thing. The clips didn't pull through, the spring mechanism that the handle bolts to was broke. I had never experienced this before, much less both doors, and I am not a stranger to this era of Ford truck.
I would say remove the door panel and investigate. Actually before you do that, grab a flashlight and look in to the other end of the handle first, I have seen that bolt come loose or strip out before. If it's not that, then removing the door panel isn't too tough. Window crank screw, inside the door pull screw (armrest), door handle bolt, and all the push clips around the perimeter. All this assuming no one has added screws, you'll then basically be looking at your problem (where the door handle bolts on). Judging by the symptoms you described, if you closely inspect that spring mechanism, it shoud be obvious.
Hope this helps, Welcome to FTE!
If I left out anything, I am sure someone will straighten me out.
After you un-screwed the panel, begin to pull it gently, try doing so from different directions, one at a time, until it becomes lose. Then take the handle out through it´s hole, the panel will still be joined to the door by some cables, but don´t mind that, check the inside for the areas the guys already pointed out.
