rear main seal type

rear main seal type
I have a '85 F150 302, and wonder what type of rear main seal it has. I am pretty sure from looking at it that its a 2 piece. You can't see any of the seal with the flywheel off. My Chiltons books says its a 2 piece, but parts sources including Ford and Napa show a 1 piece on it. Is it suppose to be the 2 piece? Is the 2 piece the rope style?

If you can't see the seal, it's a two piece. If someone's been there before, it may have a rubber seal. If it has the rope, you can buy the rubber to put in it. Just make sure you drive the little stick pin out of the main bearing cap if you go with a rubber seal.
