high performance 351w?

Im working on a lifted 96 f 350/but the engine a stock 351w 5.8l is beat and tired.I want to replace the egine with another 351w that will give me more power that i can drop right in.does anyone know a place online that would sell such an engine?.someone told me crate has one but i cant find there site.

build a stroker if you want more power. A stock replacement isn't going to be a super quick engine to begin with. For about the same price if you shop around you can have a decent stroker, I have the 393 in mind As long as you don't take it past a stock redline around 5200 or so you'll be fine with a cast crank. You can find one for around $350 or less, have the stock rods checked, order pistons (around $350ish for hypers). Depending on machine shops in your area, .030 bore around $150 or less, $100 for bearings and installation, cam of your choice (big lift means new springs), $200 to go through the heads plus around $150 labor. I went both routes, stock replacement and stroker, the stroker wins everytime.
