Have you ever investigated buying a manual for your truck? If you are working on it you will need one. There are OEM Ford manuals for many trucks available on CDROM at the [link: motorhaven.autoanything.com|Online Store]. A picture is much better than words when it comes to torque patterns.

The 3/8" bolts are 28-33 lb/ft. The 5/16" bolts are 21-25 lb/ft. Start with the 3/8" bolts. The 5/16" bolts are the last in sequence to be torqued. Don't forget to lube the threads and use hardened washers under the bolt heads with aluminum manifolds.
