Rough idling and startoff !!!!!!!

Rough idling and startoff !!!!!!!
Hi all
Have a 99 f-150 with a 5.4 v-8. The truck has 180 000 km on it.
Severe rain for the last week and haven't used the truck much in the
last month. when out in the truck the last two days noticed severe
rough idling thinking this might be water in the gas kept using her hoping it would improve. However just then the service engine light has come on,
could this be caused by water in the gas or something worse.Any recomidations on how to solve this promblem or should i just put her on the computer or is there a way to do this with the ingition on the truck.

A lot of auto part stores will check CEL codes for free. Get the code (such as P0304) and post it back here in this thread. Someone will then pipe in with the meaning of the code and what to do to fix it. Good luck!
