I have an 03 Navigator with the heated/cooled seats. Recently they stopped working. The fuse is not blown, and the indicator lights on the switch for both seats still work. I am confused. Any help would be appreciated.
My dad is a Ford certified technician, and we are having the same problem as you, but only when he is using it, because he is to heavy and he squishes the vents in the seat that the hot or cold air flow through. But when I use it they work just fine.
I've had my 04 Expy seats worked on twice. First time the switch was bad. Just had my driver seat stop working again, and this time is was a bad blower motor. Took dealer 2 days to diagnose, as diagnostic was reporting "wiring failure".
Not sure if it is the same system as the 99 Navigator, but my wife's goes in yearly for a new heating element. We got smart and waited until Nov/Dec to have it replaced so that the 1 yr warranty covers it again when they don't work.
