NumberDummy, Thanks for the part numbers. I can't believe you found these. How did you find out who had them?
To answer your question that you emailed me, yes I am wanting top and bottom, so both stripes.
Does it matter if the truck is regular cab short box, regular cab long box, extended cab short box, etc?
Mine is regular cab long bed. That's what they're for.
My truck's tape code is G. I put the G ref in my post.
Those descriptions sound right. I know that my truck has opal gray for its interior and the silver paint on the side.
Hey Kenny (y2kfordparts) can you get these? Another member of this site mstngmikegt wants some as well. I sent you an email.
Since these two kits are OBSOLETEthey cannot be ordered from Ford.
Why don't you just call one of the dealers that has them and buy them yourself? That's why I listed the info.
If nothing else, that'll save you a few bucks.
I'll list the lower kits in a few minutes in my next post.
I got the "who has them" info from two parts locator sites.
I do this everyday on FTE...look up and search for obsolete parts for members. With 19,642 posts in TWO years, I've typed one hell of a lotta part numbers.
I just bought a '95 on Tuesday and I haven't picked it up yet so I don't know the code. The truck is a gunmetal gray with red sides. I think the tape is silver. How many different colors were there?
I did notice that it needed a new piece of upper tape behind the drivers door, but I don't understand why a left and right PN. It should be able to be turned over and fit either side.
TexasGuy001 and NumberDummy...thanks alot for the info. My truck is the same exact combo as yours Texas...body and paint. Needed to do a patch on the driver's side box this spring but since my sister-in-law backed into that same side this week I will need to fix the area below the rear filler door now too! Luckily she got mainly tire, was at an angle and truck was on snow/ice so it slid about a foot sideways so damage isn't too bad but will definitely require both black and silver repaint (including stripe). Had hoped before that I could do the small patch repair without getting into the stripes and just reshoot the silver, but not now! Saving the upper stripe was questionable anyway to get the bodywork right. Oh well, her '06 Gran Prix faired worse! Thanks again for the info.....gotta love this site and it's members!
I was just wondering if anyone could find the two sets for my truck. the double white pin stripe for the top and the gray, red, gray for the bottom but the side black trim. it's a 91 f-150. i just had it painted and wanted to see if i could get the same ones. Sorry for highjacking

It is impossible to help you with this info. There are literally dozens of different stripe kits.
Look on your trucks Certification Label for the TAPE code, and post it here.
In addition, I need to know the configuration of your truck.
Is it a Super Cab, Crew Cab or Regular Cab?
Styleside pickup? Long or short bed?
1991 is kinda old, and the problem is...the stripe kits can dry out in the box, rendering them useless, because the backing can no longer be peeled off.
Post the info, I'll see if anyone has the kits...but before you buy...make sure the kit is usable!
One member bought a stripe kit for his 1977 Ranchero on ebay, paying a HUGE price. It was dried out, and worthless. He didn't get his money back, either.

Ok one slight problem because the pin stripes were added at the dealership instead of the factory on the Certification Label under the tape there is nothing, and the paper i have saying that they were put on at the dealership doesn't have the part numbers. is there anyway to find out the information for these?
You cannot turn the stripe kit over..for the simple reason the backside has adhesive on it.
If the stripe had no adhesive, how could you install it?
The stripe comes with a backing on it...you peel it off...install the stripe.
This has been SOP since Ford offered the first stripe kits on 1965 Mustangs.
Hmmmm, ok.
I've installed stripes before and they aren't side specific. Are you talking about something that is specific to one side, like a graphic? Texasguy's upper stripe (and lower) could go around the car and not be side specific. Same with 95F150SuperCab's stripe.

The Ford factory stripes are side specific and have been since 1965.
The part numbers I listed for TexasGuy came straight from the 1990/2002 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog.
Notice that the Ford part numbers are different for right and left:

Without the TAPE code, there's no way for me to know if the stripe is factory or not. There are dozens of different types.
Suggest you visit a local dealer and look in their parts catalog at the illustrations.
IMO: It's prolly not a genuine Ford kit as most dealers have an outside source that installs stripes, fender flares, running boards, etc.

Well theres another guy on here with the exact paint scheme and stripe's and he said that when he took it to the dealership they told him that it came from the factory with them. so im hopeing he can get me the tape code off of his. but i haven't figured out how to pm him or anything like that.

You need 25 posts before you can use the P/M feature.
A good upper-scale body shop will have no problem duplicating the original body vinyl stripe.
I had my truck repainted just on the outer bed and the original and the new vinyl stripes cant be told apart. Perfect match. I found a body shop that repairs BMWs and Benzs. They knew of guy that specializes in vinyl stripes--and they were placed straight and the colors and width were perfect.
