Anyone have a recomendation for a upgrade to my seats in the 84 Supercab? It had the original bench seat replaced with a JC whitney style set up that drives me crazy. It does not slide forward to access the rear compartment and the drivers side foam is shot!
There is a local 01 F150 Super cab being parted out and I wonder if those would fit in the 84? They are nice looking anyway. Mocking up brakets etc is no big deal!

What JC Whitney seats? Some dude out here just a week or two ago posted pics of his truck that had EXPENSIVE ($800+) JC Whitney seats, I thought they were pretty cool but of course that's based on a pic only....

They were around $800 or so when my dad put them in back in probably the early 90's. They are like captains chairs with the middle councel/seats set up. Oak cup holders and a nice compartment to store items. Just doesn't fit the truck in my opinion and they are not that comfortable anymore. like I said, they also dont slide forward to get good access to rear area and htis makes them very anoying!

I think the 01 seats will fit , but don't hold me to it, a tape measure can tell you more than I can. I scored some Camaro buckets for free and that's what's going in my '80 with a custom fiberglass console in between. I'm over 50, so have no use for bench seats,lol. Maybe you can sell your old seats to Ctubutis for half-price.

i went to a junk yard and picked up some bucket seats out of a 95 explorer and im really happy with them, are the seats out of the 01 super cab are they a bench seat or bucket seats? the only problem that i could think of would be that if it was a bench seat that it would be too long, but i wouldnt think they would be
