Enigine Mounts

Hey everybody. I have run into a pretty weird problem. At least I thinks it's weird. I have a 77 f100. It originally had a 302 in it, but a previous owner put a 351M in it. That engine and C6 are shot, so I found another to swap. The one I found was in a 78 station wagon. Everything seemed great to begin with, until I started pulling the "new" motor. The mounts are different! I guess I am just stupid for not considering that before. I started looking at it more closely when I pulled it and noticed something weird. On the old one, there were 4 pieces sticking out of the block into which the bolts went vertically. On the new one the mounts bolted on at an angle, almost straight into the block. After examing the new block, I noticed that the piece sticking out from the block existed in three out of four places exactly where the old one did, but did not have the bolt holes. I figured I could tap holes there, but is 3 out of 4 good enough to hold?? Is there something else I could do?? I am lost and was hoping you guys would be able to help me. Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long description.

What engine are you pulling out of this wagon, a 351C?
