Of course I joined the forum because I have a problem...I was going to adjust the timming and loosened the locking bolt on the dist. So it still wouldnt turn. I thought I'll just tap it with a hammer. Wouldn't move, so I got a bigger tool. still wouldn't turn. I decided I would pull the dist. Nope not today. so I got a Bigger tool (crow bar) Well, it moved unfortunately it was just the housing. So now I have a shaft sticking out of the engine and I STILL can't pull it. Did I mention this was an after market dist. I can see the camshaft gear and the dist. gear and both turn when I turn th eengine by hand. HELP any body???
