Popping under hard acceleration
My first post here. I have a 04 FX4 5.4. The engine has @ 72,000. About 3000 miles back, I had a light come on that looked like a wrench. Plugged in a analyzer and it just said that one of the cylinders had read a bad fuel air mix. I cleared the light and haven't had the problem since. Now, under hard acceleration, the engine stutters and I hear what seems to be a back-fire....
Any help here would be appreciated, dealer here charges 85 per hr. just to diagnose....

I would clean your MAF sensor. If you search the forums you'll find threads of people having problems with K&Ns. The oil will sometimes contaminate the sensor. I was getting a lean bank code with my k&n. I went back to a stock paper filter and haven't had the issue since.
