White wall dilema solved

Well, folks, I wanted some nice 1.25" white walls for my old 48 . But , it seemed they were not to be found. I heard about a tire called a Champiro GT ,and checked inot them. They get really good reviews. Luckily , my local mom and pop tire store could get them at the warehouse they deal with. Toal they cost me $274 for the set. I bought 235/75/15 rears ,and 205/75/15 fronts, 1.25" white walls. They look alot wider than 1.25" .I believe they are actually 1.3. Just thought I would pass that on.

Buddy, I have done alot of research on these tires, and others. Yokohama makes them also, but they are redesigning the tread design, and won't be out until May. They are simply called "The classic car whitewall." But I have heard some really good things about these Champiro GT's. My local tire shop called their supplier, and they said heck yeah ,we got a whole warehouse full of them. I was very surprised . I have had he## finding these tires. I will get photos once I get them mounted on my rims. I have them at the powder coat dudes place. He is powder coating them red. Then I will run a chrome center cap.
