Trans cooler did great
I just installed this trans cooler this weekend http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=205
It did a great job and was very easy to install.
My temps went from 160-170 empty to 130-140 .Loaded with about 25,000lbs. they went from 180-190 to 135-150.
Thanks to everyone here that adviced me to get this cooler.

AWESOME! I just ordered mine on Thursday and am looking forward to putting it in. Temp reduction sounds like it went well. When you are "empty" what is your weight? I see you are a dually. The highest empty weight trans temp I have seen is 140, which makes me wonder. Wonder if there was a difference from the 99's to the 02's? Also, did the Dieselsite stuff come with everything you needed?

Dont have clue what mine weights empty.It's a CC dually and when I say empty I mean the 40 foot gooseneck was empty so you would have to add that weight too.Haven't drove it enough yet to get it to do anything before hitching up the loaded trailer.The empty temps are after I unloaded and came back with the trailer still on.The gooseneck is 40' with triple 7 axles.

And yes it came with everything needed.I did however change one thing on the lines.The way it worked out mine would have had to make a 180 degree loop to have one line hooked up.So I went to the parts store and got a 90 degree elbow so I shouldn't ever have to worry about it kinking.
