My 12YO helped out yesterday at the horse ranch where she doe riding lessons, cleaning tack, washing horse/etc, for todays show...in return, one of the owners would let her ride in a few classes today and haul up the horse for free (owners horse, not ours).

So, I couldn't make it since I'm hanging around today for a few guys to cmoe by, but the wife just called me and said she got First place in the 13 and younger claas of walk/trot/canter.

She's suppose to be in two more classes this afternoon...If I update this thread she's still doing good, if no more updates...well, ya know

 

Well, my kid lagged, might have to beat her with something...the next two classes she got 2nd places in.

Send them to school, and what do you end up with?

One 1st place and two 2nd places? Not too shabby for a 12 year old. You must be doing something right. So, is it time to build another addition to the house for all her trophy's and ribbons?

 

No additions in the near future, she like tacking them to her bedroom wall...beats having to paint it

 

Yes, well the way she is going, pretty soon, there will be no more room left on her wall.
