Hello,
I am in the process of buying a 2005 ford f150 4x4 supercab. Its black in color with the 5.4l it has 22000 miles. I want to know if it will pull my 1995 mustang gt on a flat trailer. The nearest track is about 100 miles away will the truck handle it?

I have a 2005 screw,5.4,3.73. and pull a 8500lb fifth wheel with no problems. before the the fifth wheel I pulled a 7500lb travel trailer with no problems. It pulls no differant than any other truck when towing, it takes a little time to to get up to speed and slows down when gioing up hills. But it does a good job when towing.

I have a 06 S-cab Lariat 4x4 w/ 5.4 and I tow my Buick GN on a flat bed trailer with no problems. The olny thing I would do is put air bags or an add-a-leaf in the rear. I did level it 2" in the front. You know its back there but it does ok. Like I said I will be adding a leaf or air bags this year. I am not sure what exactly though.
