Unhappy diagram help needed

I have an 86 F350 Dually with a 7.5 ltr 460 carb engine (03/86) man date.

One of the exhaust valves had a chip thus it missed so I removed Both heads and had them redone and am finally done putting it back together with the exception of the accessories (AC Compressor, Power Steering Pump, Alternator etc)

I had such a hard on to get the heads off and figured I would get them back before I forgot how to put it back together but I forgot since 5 weeks went by. Anyway the alldata information I have doesn't show how the assembly goes back together with the brackets I have on the AC / Power Steering side so I figured someone here can bail me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If we use the same parts, you're in luck. I just did the same thing a few weeks ago. Had the motor rebuilt, couldn't get it back together. Of course Alldata/Mitchell/Chiltons etc have NOTHING about brackets....

I'll try and snap pics tomorow. My problem was, sometime in the early 80's Ford started using a different AC compressor, and everyone who tried to help had the older style.

What pics would be most helpfull? The steering/AC side, or you need the alt/smog side too?

I'll snap whatever I can, but I don't know how many I can upload...

You should always take pics before disassembly and during disasemmbly if you are not real familiar with you equipment. Then this stuff won't happen no matter how long it is appart.

I'll have some pictures as soon as I get home from my physical therapy appointment. I left the camera in my girlfriends car, so I'm picking it up at her work...

FYI: The 1980/89 Ford LIGHT Truck Parts Catalog is available from hipoparts.com on a CD. Hipo also sells them on ebay.

The LIGHT truck parts catalog covers F100/350's...the HEAVY truck catalog covers F600 and larger trucks.

The CD version was scanned from the actual Ford parts catalog, and has illustrations of everything.

JMO: Considering the cost (less than 25 bucks), everyone that owns one of these trucks SHOULD HAVE the parts catalog. Especially today...considering most Ford dealers don't give a rats azz about these trucks (and don't know chit about them, either), and just shine y'all on when you have questions.

Not only will you get all the part numbers, but the parts catalog can also be used as a assembly/dis-assembly manual.

There are over 1000 illustrations covering F100/350's, Bronco's, Econolines, Rangers, Bronco II's. Covering everything from wheels to exterior mouldings, from rear axles to interior trim parts.

Plus..in the general info section, are all the VIN decoders, color charts, special products.

No more asking..what engine is it? What transmission? What color? What..what...what!
