If you have the tube running from the egr and don't put a bung in there than it will not run right...But if you put the bung in there is should just run perfect..If i'm not mistaken the only thing that tube does is warm up the egr in some sort of way...
a bung is something thats threaded which is used for the o2 sensor. basically just a nut you weld on
Cap the egr off, as in just weld it shut, not put a bung in it
By the way, dont do it. It will sound this *****. belive me. Pretty much anything you do to a 302 exhaust needs some sort of muffler or cat to make it sound halfway decent. I personally think true duals with two glasspacks still sound ugly. Maybe an X pipe and two glasspacks.
I am running heddman longtube headers, true duals, X pipe and two dynomax ultra flo welded mufflers. X pipe evens out the flow of the two pipes, dynomax mufflers gives it just enough backpressure. LOTS of flow.
Save up for what you really want and do it all at once, do your reseach. Don't be like me and add on 3 times. got $670 into my exhaust. Thats pretty bad...
