Need engine ID for my '74 F600 in order to buy the correct tune-up parts. VIN is F60DVT83158. From what little I've found on the net the engine could possibly be a 361. Apparently the 5th letter is the engine code but that's about all I could find out. Local NAPA couldn't help since their VIN decoder doesn't go back that far.
Any way of looking at the engine for clues to confirm what it is? Engine tag is missing.

WOW! Fast isn't the word for it...! You guys are good!!!
Thanks for all the info. plus the P/N's. I hunted the net in vain for over two hours trying to track down this info.
FYI, the truck is fitted with a 50' Skyworker bucket. Has a PTO hydraulic pump to operate the booms plus a Wisconsin TH pony engine. No two-speed rear end so top speed is ~55 MPH... which is certainly fast enough for this old rig. Truck is long retired from commercial tree work but is handy to keep around the house for odd jobs...
Tune-up did the trick. P/N info. was a big help & all parts fit perfectly. Now just have a couple of valves ticking which need adjustment and the old girl will be back in the game.
While I'm here, anyone have a P/N for the screw-on fuel filter can? Can's rusted and numbers on it are unreadable. The filter is on the driver's side below the oil filter.
