Finding replacement glass

If already have not been welcomed to FTE, then WElCOME!! Seem to recall member recently posting simular problem locating windshield and member(s) recommending automotive glass shop who would cut one to size. Had the windshield replaced on 65 few years back and since the rear had some minor scratches thought I would have it replaced at same time. I could not find a glass shop that cut to size, nor could I, or the shop, locate a reproduction rear window. The slightly scratched rear window is still in the truck. Came across 1 in pic n pull and now keep a spare. Believe the days of coming across 61-66 Ford trucks or vehicles at a pic n pull are far and few between, may get lucky. Perhaps another member can provide source in your area. Suggest start by calling local automotive glass shops, and salvage yard, who ever comes up with 1 first. Also check w/ FTE classified, last but not least, Ebay. If time permits, you can set up an ebay email for 61-66 Ford pickup parts, doubtfull will find the rear window, but if it appears seller is parting the truck out you could email the seller and inquire. Picked up a hood this way by, and set it up where I would only receive an email with sellers in my area.

for new glass try Auto City Glass at 800-828-2212 they are in the twin cities and that is where i got a new windshield. In AZ for the winter and i know Desart Valley in Phoeinx has some in their yard 800-905-8024. I recontioned my rear window by using a kit repair from Eastwood. Did a good job.
