2001 Expedition Start Up Problems
Hi guys my buddy bought 2001 Exp EB not long ago ... car has 98,000 Miles. Recently he said that he's having problems starting the car. He says when he turns the key to start it up it cranks fine (so battery is not the problem) it just won't start unless he puts his foot on accelerator and keeps it there. He said he has to sit like this for about 5 minutes every morning and keep the car at around 2000 RPM's. Once the car warms up everything is ok and it drives fine, but if he takes his foot of the accelerator if the car just barely started car dies.
