Hi, I have a 73 tang mach 1, I had a 351m fitted with headers and stuff in it... I decided on rebuilding the 351m into a 408, so I bought tims 0 deck 9.5cr pistons 30 over, 400 crank, etc.... Besides this I have a single plane small port maniforld, edelbrock performer 750 manual choke carb (1407), stock heads a bit ported on the exhaust side and milled 0.020", one being a 75 with 74,6cc chambers and the other one a 73 with 75,6cc chambers (obviosly they have less cc due to milling). So meanwhile getting on some more money to get a new camshaft and top new parts like roller rockers and ****, i have 2 camshaft available for my build and i was wondering on which one is the best choice. This is my fun driver and will be used on the streets, there´s nosmog regulations around here and would love to drag joking around, so, theres the crane hmv -272 2a with 272int 284 ext and the h 282 2 with 282 int and 290 ext, both with a little more than .500 lift. I will run on 91 octane, so whats my best choice?? opinions??? thanx...
also I might add that the scr i calculated it at 10 to 1....

Well, I am not familiar with that cam, but if you calculated the dcr to something that low, then you should be able to try it and you will notice very soon how well it works. I would check with the 335 series forum on network 54. Chances are, someone has experience with that cam.
