accelerator/throttle suddenly stopped working
I have a 2000 superduty with 100k miles. I was plowing all night (7hrs) when throttle suddenly stopped working. Truck starts and goes into gear but there is no response from accelerator unless it is depressed quickly in rapid succession - then engine only intermitently surges. Please help, thanks.

Welcome to FTE.
This sounds like the TPS, its what tells the PCM the possision of the throttle as you depress it. It is next to the pedal. I never changed one before, but I am sure someone will be here soon that has.

Did you lose your gauges also? If so you may have blown a fuse. On my 02 F-350 7.3 it was a 10amp on the bottom row, I think #40 or 45 but can't remeber and don't have truck with me right now. Good luck and Welcome to FTE.
