So I was thinking about putting my CB between my drivers seat and center console temperarily until i figured where i want to actually mount it. Then I noticed this thing connected the female side of my seat belt along the side of my seat... Ive thought about it long and hard now and can't possibly figure out what it is for. I dont have power seats and/or power "lumbar" support. It looks kinda important and was just wondering if any of yall knew what it was.
That tube is a pretensioner that's designed to instantly retract and tighten the belt in the event of a serious impact to help prevent injury from the seat belt.
