I have a 97 350 4x4. turned head lights on had no running lights. pushed in switch one click and then had all running lights? with headlights off. turning the head lights on kills all other lights....unless i push switch in jut so slightly. then i can get both? tried two new switches did the same thing. Ran a jumper wire from headlight port on switch plug to running lights port. worked for a while then started kicking the relay???
There's a thing in the articles/specs section about adding relays, maybe that would fix the problem. It sounds a little strange that pushing the switch in a little on three different switches would make the lights work, though
Yep I did see that. I was just wondering if this may be a re-occuring problem with f series trucks. But i think I may be on to some thing. I think that the T to my trailer light plug may be canceling out my running lights. I installed a new switch and now in park light position I have none. but my headlights will still come on ok. Replace the breaker and I have noticed the light on my Trailer brake controller lights up very dim sometimes? Im gonna go that route for now. thanks for responding.

fatcathp,
have you had any luck fixing the problem? I have a similar problem on my 93. I can get all the lights to work if I push the **** in just a little, but otherwise its just headlights. I havent hooked anything up to a trailer recently so I don't think thats my problem...
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
