Talking Used car?

Hey guys,

Got a friend looking for a cheap car. Just need to run to work in the summer with it. $2-3 grand...maybe more if it already has a recent safety. Something that is somewhat reliable.

Got any leads?

Check on your local Kijiji. Here`s a link to the Saskatoon one, you`ll need to change locations, easy to do.

Oh believe me, I know. But he is a poor civil engineering student, and needs something to get around. He gave up an $18/hr summer job last year because he didn't have a vehicle. He told me he just needs it for the summer and then he'll park it at his parents.

I can help him out a bit, as far as discerning what is half decent and doing some repairs. I got a cousin with a shop that can do the mechanic and body work if need be. Friend figures he'll have about $5 grand to spend on a car. So I put insurance at around $800 and allow $1000 in having a couple things fixed if need be. So he would have about $3200 to work with.

Figured I would ask here first, as I know that people on here actually take care of the things they own.
