Did years 05-07 not sell well or something?

Part of it may be that in 03 and 04 there were some problems with a FEW of the 6.0's, so people are more likely to sell them. Plus now a lot of those have high miles on them. By 05 they had got most of the quirks worked out and they are really good so people are keeping them. Think for a minute, if you had a 05-07 that ran great would you sell it. Probably not. So they may be a little harder to find.
Go to autotrader.com and you will find plenty for sale. I have found my last 3 veheicle throught them and have saved about 3-5 grand on each vehicle. Don't be afraid to look at trucks aways from you. I drove 250 miles to get my Superduty. That cost me about $400 in fuel. But I got the truck $5,000 under NADA & KBB value. It was well worth it. I saved 4600 by driving 2 state away from me to get my truck. I havn't had a single problem with my truck and it is a 5.4 with just over 100,000 miles on it.
Good Luck finding what you want.

If I remember correctly the 06 did not make a full years run when the 07 came out. The 07 only made a 6 month (?) run because of the early introduction of the 08 in January 07. A lot of guys like me bought 06 or 07, because we weren’t to sure we wanted anything to do with the 08’s, so we won’t be selling them anytime soon.
