Cannot control!!!!!!!!
I recently pulled my codes on my 92 302. I successfully pulled the codes form the KOEO position but when I tried the KOER it only flashed one number and it was 4. I went through my list of codes for 400-499 nd the only thing I could come up with is that it could not control the high engine idle. because when I started it, it went through the low idle test and when it got to the high idle test the rpm's kept railing and droping till I killed the engine. Does anybody have any clue why my engine would do that.

4 is the engine code that tells you that the engine is a V8. Wait longer and you'll likely see a single pulse, which is your signal to give the throttle a quick stab (and touch the brake pedal, turn the steering wheel a 1/4 turn, and cycle the overdrive cancel switch if applicable). Then wait a little longer and the codes should begin to flash.
