I Was Just Wondering, I Noticed Now That Its Colder Here In Ohio About 25 To 35 Degrees My Psd Cranks Longer To Start When I First Start It. I Have Had It Plugged In But Didnt Make Any Difference. Once It Does Start It Fires Right Up Quickly Thereafter What Could This Be. Is This Normal Because Its So Cold Out.
Are you trying to crank it immediate after the "wait to start light" goes out? If so, that could be part of your problem. wait another 15-20 sec. (or longer) after the light goes out and start. How are your batt's? Glow-Plugs? Glow-plug relay?
Batts Are Good I Keep A Trickle Charge On Them In The Winter The Truck Sits All Winter I Dont Drive It. Glow Plugs Are Good. By The Way I Love Your Truck Looks Very Nice.
What grade oil are you using?
