Hub?

When putting on a new set of manual hubs is it necessary to put the big spring back on?

The instructions call it The Spring and Oil Slinger?

It did'nt come with the new set. It was already on there when I took the old ones off.

are you upgrading from auto hubs? the new set should come with all the parts you should need!

Thanks! No Iam just replacing the old ones are bad and I was wondering if I needed to put that big spring back since the instructions does'nt show one way or the other
