well i kinda have a problem. my truck was acting like it wasn't getting gas about 4 months ago so i pulled the carb off and bought a carb kit. i took it a part and i haven't touched it since. so needless to say i forgot how it goes back together. so does anybody have any recommendations on what i should do? should i buy one or should i attempt to put it back together?
it is a one barell carb on a 223 engin
the tag reads... C3TF T

The part # of your carb is C3TZ 9510-AA it was replaced with a C3AZ 9510-AY. This is based off of your tag info. Now there are 2 carb makers, Ford and Holley. If it is a Holley, look at this link for an exploded veiw of carbs ranging from 1934-1968. http://www.tocmp.com/manuals/Carbs/H...ews/index.html
The Ford carbs I don't have a breakdown for. But in the parts manual they look very close to one another so you might be able to understand the way it goes back together with the Holley manual.

Reason: spelling
If it's the ford (autolite) 1100 1 barrel carb There is an exploded view picture in the rebuild kit, and also a very good picture in the shop manual. Make sure you get the check ***** (little ball bearings) in the right places. The diagram is a little hard to follow which holes they go in. Good luck
I just rebuilt mine last weekend - first time rebuilding a carb but i got it back together OK. Like Killerkjn said, remember those check ***** (I forgot one the first time I put it back together). Also, be sure to set the float correctly - use the correct measurement and make sure you connect the needle to the float properly (I failed to do so the first time and when I started up the truck gas started shooting out the top!).
I had mine apart about 4 different times before I got it right; I'm an expert now!
