touch pad problems

the touch pad on my '07 f-150 stopped illuminating when i go to open the door. the headlights use to come on also but not anymore. anybody have a clue as to what is happening. this just started about a month ago and the truck has 33k on it. thanks

I agree with rollerstud, take it in. Either the pad is bad or the module is bad, but before you get to 36K, get it into the dealer and the issue logged.
